Council grass cutter and proverbial optimist Tom Trelawneyis moonlighting as a groundsman at the fabled Cornish estate of Treludannan, home to the enigmatic turf tycoon Sir Terrance Chudleigh. Nothing is what it seems at the country manor though and the further Tom investigates, the murkier the truths of Treludannan become. Unwittingly finding signs of disturbing activity, literally behind the façade, Tom and his colourful mates discover a prickly plot of intrigue, spelling dire implications beyond their beloved county.

Set in coastal West Cornwall, the caper is irreverently informed by Tom’s musings on history, economics, religion, friendship, old wisdom and popular culture.

The Author - RICHEMONT LEWIS

Born to a large New York family, it was sketching, creative writing, Lego, and reptiles that defined the boyhood mindset. Later, the author studied chemistry at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia, and was thereafter granted a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design. A busy career in Manhattan combined with rigors of raising a young urban family, laid a solid foundation for an alternative second life of sorts - in rural Cornwall, United Kingdom.  There, as a professional engaged in the arts, architectural and marine projects, graphic design, and writing, the author devotes his leisure time to activities where he can interact with others, to deduce their life lessons, with respect to our everchanging world. The author’s varied other interests include automobile technology, history, unsolved mysteries, futurism, politics, horology, aircraft design, astronomy, etymology, travel, tennis, hiking, and New York Yankee baseball.  ~ RL
